United Airlines in Australia: Flying together for 30 years

United Airlines began nonstop service from Australia to the United States in 1986 and will celebrate 30 years of service in Australia in February 2016. Today, United serves Sydney with nonstop flights from San Francisco and Los Angeles; and Melbourne with nonstop flights from Los Angeles. The airline offers Australian customers more than 200 daily connections via its San Francisco and Los Angeles hubs to over 90 destinations across the U.S.
